    Activities in the area and on Salt Spring Island abound. Here are some of the things to do:

    Shopping in Ganges
    There's no better way to spend a day than strolling around the small seaside village of Ganges. Buy locally crafted soaps, gourmet chevre and other specialty foods, art and crafts, and much more. On Saturday afternoon experience the Saturday Market, something you should not miss as a visitor to Salt Spring.

    Dining
    There are a range of dining opportunities on the island, from the finest of dining at Hastings House to the Tree House Cafe, a small outdoor restauraunt and cafe with live music in the heart of Ganges. Ask us for recommendations!

    Hiking

    Golfing
    Just minutes from Sweetwater Farm is Blackburn Meadows Golf Course a fully-organic nine-hole links-style course and driving range. In Ganges you will also find Salt Spring Island Golf & Country Club, a 9-hole par 36 course and driving range.

    Mount Maxwell Provincial Park
    A well known and spectacular clifftop viewpoint, Mount Maxwell Provincial Park is accessibly by car and is just a short (and steep!) drive up the mountain roads from Sweetwater Farm.
